USKA Regionals

The Regionals in Palm Springs was held on January 21,2006.  This is a Nationals qualifier and students attended from Arizona and New Mexico as well as California.  Also some attended form the USKK in addition to the USKA .

My favorite time of the whole tournament was when Siah Nix, a tall Afro American Black Belt with long dread locks, took me aside and told me he wanted to get to know me better.  We have been exchanging friendhip smiles for about 5 years, what a great witness opportunity.  I look forward to that day when we chat.  You can pray that God would go before me and prepare the path.

We had some great and courageous competitors at this event.  Parents and students we know it takes a huge commitment to even go.  We believe tournaments can be important in student training.  This is why we compete, to test ourselves, and our abilities under a competitive situation.  Remember that even those that are not winning a trophy are learning from the experiences.

So here is how the event fared for our students.

Thank You from Joe Dupaquier

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

I have attached a letter we received from Mandeville Karate in Louisiana.

Everyone's efforts were really appreciated. I believe our change (contributed by you all), will be remembered and help change lives.

What a small sacrifice to serve our Lord. You have hit a home run for the Kingdom.
